I was raised in Sydney's suburbs on Vegemite, reruns
of Skippy, and my father's travel tales of Europe and
Scandinavia in the 60s.
Having well and truly been bitten by the travel bug I opted out of Schoolies Week and instead celebrated the end of high school by flying to Odense, Denmark as a Rotary Exchange Student. If I had already been bitten, I was well and truly smitten by travelling after 12 months of touring Europe and living as a local in Denmark.
In the years since that trip I've reported on travel
destinations from the Cook Islands to KL, Sweden's Ice
Hotel to Hong Kong's Ritz-Carlton, and just about every corner of Australia. I've covered the travel beat for New Woman magazine and edited Virgin Blue Voyeur for more than three years. I've discovered a passion for travel photography and memory collecting. I've lived in Thailand

and explored South East Asia by boat, bike and tuktuk. And still I could never tire of travelling.
My travel writing and photographs have appeared in many publications including Sunday magazine in the Sunday Telegraph, WISH magazine in The Australian, Vacations
& Travel, Virgin Blue Voyeur, Discover and New Woman.
I'm proud to be a current committee member on the
Australian Society of Travel Writers.
Travel editors, if you need snappy, well-researched and accurate copy and beautiful images for your pages, I'd love to hear from you. For a list of destinations I have recently visited click here.
